Western Wildwood High Speed Route

Oct.05.2011: Though life has side-tracked me a bit sometimes these last several months, I'm still working hard on this route and progress is coming along nicely. I'd approximate about 1/2 of this route is currently completed now.

It will be a good route to run various high-speed-trains on at top-speeds and will have mainly electrified tracks with overhead wires.  It will also accommodate some freight operations as well.

This route will be quite scenic with a variety of landscapes to journey through.  Several scenarios will come with this route that will allow use of some default trains that come with RailWorks, but there will also be extra optional scenarios packs that will make use of some additional payware train-sets (such as the ICE1 and Class 390 trains). Below are a few screen-shots taken of my route. Check back soon for updates on progress.

A little sneak-peek video I put together of my route.
Here I'm driving the Class 390 Pendolino train.

(excuse the somewhat low quality of this vid and the FPS - due in part to my old computer and the video-capture software also causing a hit, but still gives you an idea of how my route is shaping up).

A couple of trains at one of the stations picking up waiting passengers.

A farmland area seen along the route.
